Hemipoks is a two-component corrosion-resistant primer designed for the long-lasting protection of steel structures in industrial environments. It is especially effective for agricultural machinery, ships, boats, tanks, and similar applications, providing protection against weather and other environmental factors.

Composition and Colors: This corrosion-resistant primer contains modified epoxy resin, zinc phosphate, fillers, additives, and solvents. Hemipoks is available in grey, red, and white colors, allowing the user to choose the appropriate color for the given surface.

Application: Hemipoks should be applied to pre-prepared surfaces and can be applied in various ways, including brush, roller, spray, or with a 2-component "airless" spray system. Its thixotropic properties allow the application of very thick layers (100-160 microns in 2 layers).

Mixing and Thinning: The two components of Hemipoks should be mixed in a 5:1 ratio, and thinning should be done with Epoxy thinner at a rate of 5-15%, depending on the application method.

Usage Conditions: The ideal conditions for applying Hemipoks are air, surface, and paint temperatures between 5°C and 30°C, with a maximum relative humidity of 70%. These conditions ensure the best results.

Processing Time: Hemipoks has an excellent processing time and can be worked with for up to 4 hours at 20°C.

Coverage and Drying: The coverage is 7-8 m² per kilogram when applying a 40-micron layer. At 20°C, Hemipoks dries to the touch in 4-6 hours.

Movability and Recoating: Hemipoks can be moved after 24 hours. It can be recoated after 6 hours and within 48 hours without the need for sanding.

Appearance and VOC: Hemipoks has a satin finish that provides an aesthetic final result. Its VOC content is a maximum of 500 g/liter, contributing to an eco-friendly application.
