MS Clearcoat K20 – DEKA is a medium solid clear coat developed to provide excellent hardness, UV resistance and durability even under demanding weather conditions. The coating offers outstanding resistance to stone impacts and does not chip off even under strong mechanical stress.

Its durability and high gloss create a deep colour effect, enhancing the appearance of the basecoat and ensuring long-lasting premium quality.

MS Hardener (B): 50 parts
Acrylic thinner (C): 0–5%

The amount of thinner is calculated based on the amount of clearcoat.

Flash-off time between coats: 10 – 12 minutes
Pot life: 60 minutes at 20°C

The first coat should be applied onto a pre-dried basecoat. The second coat should be applied as a full coat and left to flow and harden completely. The clearcoat can be cured using an IR heater, which must not be switched on earlier than 15 minutes after application of the final coat.

When painting large surfaces, the use of slow hardener and slow acrylic thinner is recommended.
