Details

This high-quality sprayable polyester putty allows fast and uniform filling of small defects where manual putty application would be too slow or uneven.
It can be applied smoothly onto steel, aluminum, fiberglass and previously applied polyester putties.

It produces a fine surface, sands easily and ensures perfect surface leveling for further coating steps.

What it’s for: sealing pinholes, repairing shallow imperfections, smoothing repaired surfaces prior to priming.

Application

Mixing ratio: 100 parts putty, 2 parts hardener, Up to 10% thinner

Spray viscosity: 50 ± 5 sec (20°C)

Pot life: 20 ± 3 sec (20°C)

Spray gun setup:

• Nozzle: 2.0–3.0 mm
• Pressure: 2.0–2.5 bar

Layers:

• 1–3 layers
• Max wet layer thickness: 200 μm
• Max total thickness: 500 μm

Flash-off:

• Between coats: ~5 min
• Before baking: ~10 min

IR drying:

• 8–12 minutes (200–250 μm)

Curing:

• 2–3 hours at 20°C
• 25–30 minutes at 60°C

Sanding: P180–P320 (dry)
