CarSystem SoftPutty is a high-quality, two-component polyester body filler designed for repairing car, truck, bus, and railway vehicle bodywork. It delivers a high degree of fineness and a homogeneous surface that is easy to sand. Suitable only for steel surfaces, not for zinc or aluminum. The mixing ratio is 2-3% hardener by weight, applied with a spreader. At 20°C, the pot life is 3-4 minutes (5-6 minutes for the long version), with a drying time of 20-30 minutes. Initial sanding should be done with P80-P120 dry paper, followed by re-sanding with P120-P240. Storage life: 6-8 months in the original sealed container at 18-20°C.
