The 3M™ Polishing Kit - Compound + Pad Set includes everything needed for a professional polishing process. This set is ideal for removing scratches, achieving high-gloss finishes, and optionally eliminating holograms. The 3M Perfect-it™ series ensures quick, efficient work with long-lasting results.

Kit contents:

• 3M 51815 Perfect-it III Fast Cut Plus Extreme Compound (1000 ml): Coarse compound for rapid scratch removal.
• 3M 50487 Perfect-it™ III Hookit Pad (Green, 150 mm): Coarse pad for scratch removal.
• 3M 80349 Perfect-it III Extra Fine Compound (1000 ml): Extra fine compound for a perfectly glossy finish.
• 3M 50488 Perfect-it™ III Hookit Pad (Yellow, 150 mm): Fine pad for high-gloss polishing.

Optional extras (additional cost):

• 3M 50383 Trizact Compound (1000 ml): Hologram remover with UV protection.
• 3M 50388 Perfect-it™ III Ultrafina SE Polishing Pad (Blue, 150 mm): Wave-pattern pad for hologram removal and ultimate gloss.

Usage steps:

1. Scratch removal:

   • Apply a small amount of 3M 51815 compound to the green pad and begin polishing.
   • Work on smaller areas and repeat the process until the desired result is achieved.

2. High-gloss polishing:

   • Use the yellow pad (50488) with 3M 80349 compound.
   • Polish in cross-pattern motions until the desired gloss is achieved.

3. Hologram removal (optional):

   • Apply 3M 50383 Trizact compound to the blue pad (50388) and use medium pressure to remove holograms.
   • Reduce pressure for a maximum gloss finish.
