Hemiprodukt Grund Zinc-Phosphate Corrosion-Resistant Primer - Red (0,75L)

Corrosion-resistant primer for metal surfaces, suitable for applications like agricultural machinery, steel structures, gates, fences, etc. Composition: Synthetic binder, pigments, anti-corrosion zinc-phosphate pigment, fillers, additives, and solvent.

Surface Preparation:

Remove rust with manual or mechanical sanding or with a wire brush according to ISO8501-1 SA 2 ½ St3 standards,
Degrease the surface, which must be dry and clean before applying the primer paint.

Dilution: Ester, Acrylic, Universal Thinner.

Application:

Stir the paint thoroughly before use.
Can be applied by brush, roller, or spray gun.
Clean tools with industrial thinner.

Usage Conditions:

Permissible air, surface, and paint temperature: between +5 and +35°C, with max. relative air humidity of 70%.

Drying (20°C):

Touch-dry: 1 hour; fully hardened: 48 hours.
Recoatable: between 30 minutes and 4 hours, or after 24 hours for 40-micron film thickness.
Finishing coat: quick-drying or alkyd enamel, 1 or 2 coats.
Appearance: Matte finish.

Coverage: 0.12 – 0.145 kg/m² at 40-micron dry film thickness.
