"Antika" is a high-quality paint specifically designed for the protection and decoration of iron surfaces, such as garden structures, balconies, stair railings, garden or entrance doors, window grilles, or wrought iron products both indoors and outdoors.

Composition:

This paint’s unique formula includes modified alkyd binder, corrosion-inhibiting pigments, various additives, and solvent, which together ensure the high quality and durability of the paint.

• Excellent Corrosion Protection: The paint is highly effective in protecting surfaces against rust, ensuring long-lasting durability.
• High Weather and Light Resistance: The "Antika" paint withstands harsh weather conditions and exposure to sunlight, meaning it retains its original appearance for an extended period.

Application:

The paint can be applied using a brush, roller, or spray gun. It can be used directly on metal surfaces in 1-2 layers or as a topcoat after a primer layer. Depending on the application method, it can be diluted with industrial thinner. The optimal painting conditions are between 5 and 30°C with a relative humidity below 70%.

Surface Preparation:

Before application, it is essential to mechanically remove rust and other contaminants from the surface, as well as oil and grease residues. For old paint layers, clean and sand the surface, removing any loose or damaged areas completely.

Drying Time:

At 20°C and 65% relative humidity, the paint is:

• Dust dry: after approx. 1 hour
• Touch dry: in 4-6 hours
• Re-coatable: after 24 hours
  At lower temperatures and higher humidity, the drying time may be longer.

Environmentally Friendly:

The "Antika" paint complies with the EU VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) regulations, which aim to reduce harmful emissions.

Color Shade:

This paint provides a glossy finish, which gives the surface an authentic wrought iron appearance.

Coverage:

The "Antika Iron" paint offers excellent coverage, with 8-10 square meters covered per liter in a single layer. This means you can cover a large area with less paint, making it a cost-effective solution.
